Get to Know About Youth Gate Zimbabwe
We are a non-profit making organization established in 2018 and legally constituted in 2019. The YGZ is fundamentally a human rights and youth-led organization focusing on fostering advocacy and inclusive HIV and stigma-free sexual and reproductive health and rights approaches for young people in undeserved groups (sexual and gender minority youth who use and injects drugs, who are also into sex work and living with HIV across the target populations) in Zimbabwe.
The youth in underserved populations have the power to advocate and to make decisions about their HIV status, sexual health, reproductive health and health rights.
Strengthening the capacity of our communities in sexual and reproductive health rights and HIV movement, fostering meaningful participation and empowerment of youth in underserved populations in decision making processes that have a direct bearing on their lives and to become leaders and changemakers in their communities.
